Genises Yin Vargas
My name is Genises I was born and raised in Tucson AZ. I am working on my bachelor degrees in Communication and Spanish, with an emphasis in interpretation and translation. I have worked with the New Start Summer Program, UAdvantage's partner program, for several years and last summer was my first summer working for UAdvantage. On campus, I am also involved with the TRIO program on campus called Upward Bound, where I work with high school students, getting them college ready. In my spare time, I enjoy working out and finding all the good places to eat in Tucson!
Hey everyone! My name is Angel Holloway, I'm a sophomore with a Communication major and an Entrepreneurship minor. After going through the New Start Summer Program, I decided to take on the role of a PA for Uadvantage this year. Aside from my campus involvement, I work part time off campus and work towards being a freelance artist. My favorite thing about Tucson is, hands down, the view of the city from the top of Campbell Road. Go see it sometime!
My name is Jeffrey and I am a sophomore, originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I am currently a Pre-Business major here at the University of Arizona and I intend to major in Finance. Around campus, I am involved with athletics and programs for first-year students in the Eller College of Management. My favorite aspects of Tucson include horseback riding, skating, and Roadhouse Cinema. It is it also important that you know I am a dog person!
Hi everyone! I’m Megan Getty and I am currently a senior at the University of Arizona. I’m majoring in Communication and Information Science & eSociety. I’m an out of state student and have loved my journey in Arizona. The U of A has brought me to a community of friends and co-workers that have helped me become the person I am today. I’m involved in Greek Life and it has helped me appreciate the Tucson community. Tucson has many things to offer, and I’ve enjoyed the food and outside activities that has made Tucson my second home.
